Capas National Shrine

Located at Brgy. Navy in Capas, Tarlac is the fifty-four hectare memorial - a shrine built by the Philippine government for the Filipino and American soldiers who died at Camp O’Donell towards the end of the Bataan Death March during World War II. The area was established on December 1991 and was unveiled on 1993. A huge part of the memorial was planted with trees to represent each of the deceased soldiers: thirty-five hectares for the more than 30,000 soldiers who were laid to rest there.
